Guest guest
Hi: I have not posted lately, but I did read what Lottie wrote regarding preps for colonoscopy. I have Chronic Kidney Disease, and I am scheduled for a routine 5 year colonoscopy on Jan. 13. My prep is just to drink one bottle of magnesium phosphate. Nobody seems to be concerned with Kidney issue. I had no problems with my last procedure which was 5 years ago. This just has me wondering. I was glad that they did not request the old fashioned prep with the fleet enema etc.
Guest guest
Ask your Dr. about taking Miaralx instead. It is tasteless. You still need to drink a lost, but it is easy on the kidneys, and you don't have to worry as much about your electrolytes. I work in a surgery center where many of the Doctors use this type of prep.
