Guest guest
Dear Vicki, I hear it is quite pristine up in Oregon and I have heard about the rain. It rains a lot here, too, but I can't take cold weather. I love all the seafood from the Pacific. Not crazy about salmon, but I could get used to it. LOL Now meeting Dr. Druker is the real bait. Do you have prawn at all? We ate some in Hawaii and it was delicious. Seems to be sweeter than our shrimp. Some have an iodine taste, and I suspect they are the shrimp from out in the gulf itself. We like the shrimp caught in inland brackish waters best. There are so many ways of preparing shrimp. I made shrimp fried rice last week. Spicy boiled shrimp is very popular here. My grandson loves shrimp/okra gumbo so much they gave him the nickname " Gumbo " , and he lives in TN. I bring him some when we visit and when he comes down, I have some prepared and iced up to bring home, but he wants to eat it here, so I always have some ready and his wife loves the fried rice and says not to cook it until she can watch me. We'll have a conclave and discuss moving. LOL. xoxox Lottie
