PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop posting on this topic… was - might be busted

Hello Dixie,As the list owner, I wish that there was a way to make a thread like this stop. The only way I've been able to control a thread like this in the past is to put the whole list on moderation (every post) and catch each email on the offending topic and reply back to the sender to let them know that the thread is closed.I would have put the entire list on moderation yesterday, but it was the last day of my show and I was COMPLETELY SWAMPED (up at 5:30 at the store by 7:30, demonstrating non stop from 10AM to 7PM, then tear down the booth and arrive back to the motel at 11PM. I am now sitting in a motel with a maid knocking on the door wanting to know when I am going to leave the room…Being a moderator of a large list can be very hard and I can't tend it 24/7. I really wish that I could.If I put the whole list on moderation as I begin to drive home and unpack I won't be available to approve any messages.So I am simply going to BEG everyone to PLEASE stop posting on this thread AND PLEASE have patience for those people who post because they don't see this message.I care about this list more than you can imagine, and I doubt that people can know how much it hurts me to think that someone would leave because I was unable to step in and put a stop to this.
