I do believe it is a vable option for you. It seems that since tasigna

is a perfected 'gleevec' that they have done well with it's work and

lessening the side effects. If I had stayed on gleevec, I would have

had to quit work. It was awful. I am really lucky to be on 400 mg as

well. My doc says this is the minimal dosage and for me, it works so

well that he is only doing bloodwork every 12 weeks.
