Here's what I had for dessert after my Carrot Asparagus Soup…

I've been drinking a hot version of this recipe:

http://www.marksdailyapple.com/creamy-turmeric-tea/#axzz20RqBvXIE

Today I tried it cold in the Vitamix.

I used 1 cup of water

4 heaping tablespoons of coconut milk powder (I use this brand -

http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com/category/coconut-products-milk-powder.ph\

p )

1/2 tsp turmeric

1/8 tsp cayenne powder

Scant 1/8 tsp powdered ginger

Scant 1/8 tsp black pepper (aids in absorption of the curcumin found in

turmeric) http://csn.cancer.org/node/219876

15 drops of NuNaturals Alcohol Free Vanilla flavored Stevia (many would use

Agave or Honey to sweeten)

2 cups of ice

I loved it, but the ice separated and floated to the top. I chewed through the

flavored spoonfuls of slushy ice, then drank the cold, creamy " tea " . Will have

to play with this in order to tweak it until it is more like an ice cream. Will

probably make some almond milk ice cubes and try this with frozen and liquid

almond milk + the spices/sweetener.

Blessings,
