Gleevec may treat and/or cure type I diabetes

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to for putting me on the trail of this article.

It appears that Gleevec was able to prevent type I diabetes in a group

of mice and able to cure it after it had already started in 80% of

another group.

It sounds a little too good to be true for my ears but if it turns out

to be true, can you imagine the implications and how the demand for the

drug will sky rocket! I wonder if we'll see a price reduction?
