Subject: Velda's Apple Pie Smoothie--OMG!!!!

Thank you so much for the apple pie smoothie recipe! We tried it tonight and my family went ape over it :) When I was in California, we went to n, "the apple pie capital" (a small town near San Diego). I had an apple pie milkshake while we were walking around, and this one is much healthier and delicious!!! We made ours with apple pie spice instead of plain cinnamon and agave nectar. YUMMY!!!!

1 apple core removed skin on I used a fugi cuz that is what I had1 cup milk-I used vanilla silk soy1/2 cup fage non fat Greek yogurt plain not flavored1 tsp cinnamon2 tbsp brown sugarI vm'ed all till smooth then added ice to the consistency I wanted. It was likeeating soft ice cream. With about 2 cups ice. Hubby thought it was wonderful andhe is not a smoothies guy. Son who refuses almost anything from the vm unlessits tons of sugar and recipe is from his smoothies cookbook said he liked ittoo. I saved most for me. ( grin)Velda
