Guest guest
Dear Barbara, I posted something about this earlier. If you missed it, here it is again in part. Please do not play Russian Roulette with the taking of your CML drugs unless the doctor has ordered you to stop. You could be setting yourself up for something far more serious. You are right, however, about Alliance being a subsidiary of Novartis. http://www.cmlalliance.com/index.jsp Potential Uses Of Blood Level Testing a.. You suspect that the patient may be experiencing a drug-drug interaction b.. The patient isn't responding to oral cancer therapy as well as you believe he or she should be c.. The patient is experiencing side effects that are unusually severe for the dose of oral cancer therapy he or she is taking Blood level testing offered through CML AllianceT will be performed by a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory with significant expertise in blood level testing. A group of international experts in Ph+ CML is currently working to establish a uniform standard for performing Q-RT-PCR and reporting and interpreting the results. These experts recommend that Q-RT-PCR be performed at least every 3 months to assess response to therapy. FYI, Lottie
