Guest guest
Hello all, just got out of the hospital again, I am off Dasatinib as of Oct31st when I went in to the hospital. I was in the hospital for 11 days in Oct and when I got out a week went by and I was back in, each time I had to have fluid taken from around the lung. I had 8.5 bottles (each bottle is 500ml) of fluid removed, two the fist time I was in and 3.5 in between hospital visits and this time 3 more. My temp was quite high both hospital stays. I am not sure where we go from here, I may go back on Nilotinib, but at least the Doc's are still tinkering with me, they did not throw up their hand in frustrations (yet). They gave me five days of GCSF shots, hoping to get my ANC up above the 150 range into at least the 500 range, when I left the hospital yesterday it was 306 (almost doubled from five days earlier) .. My wbc was 1.1 hgb was 103 plt was 5 (they gave me some single donor before I left). All in all I do not feel all that bad.
