Guest guest
not sure who knows/remembers but my one puppy has had a tumor on his front leg since before easter. we thought it was just prianed as he ould hold it up but due to his age (9 years old) the vet didnt want to put him out to take an xray for fear of him not comming out of it then come July it never got better and we thought finding out what was wrong would be better then him suffering. if he doesn't make it out then at least he wont be in pain anymore. otherwise we can heal him up and go on. thats when we found out it was a tumor on the bone and we cant afford to have it removed. but he does well even dig holes and runs and we havnt had to increase his pain pills more then his every other day dosage. my best present in the world is that he is still alive and made it through the holidays. we got completly scared and upset 3 weeks ago though. He was in a bad way and was suffering. I didnt think he was going to make it through the night and the next day i worried if he was going to be alive when i got home from work and if so should i take him to the cold scary vets to be put to sleep?? id rather him die at home doped up on pain meds then alone and scared. He vommeted a few times, and his urin was almost completly blood. not good. He was constipated for a few days which we think added to his discomfort. but that morning after making it through the night he got up and smiled and looked at me which made the decision harder. my parents took care of him while i worked and she called to say he did eat and pooped and they think the blood wasnt as bad. a week later he was back to normal eating 2x as much. *** fun part^^ my mother wasnt sure about having him around the kids and thought we should keep him upstairs while we do our big family christmas I said " no way. " rvrty year he is front and center in the middle of the action. this year was no differant. I gave him a bath b4 hand and there he layed right in the middle of the action moving closer to the kids even. everyone had to step around him. All i can say is thank you. that was the best gift me and my parents could have ever gotten. a few weeks ago i thought it was going to be the worst holiday ever and last night as we finally did family xmas, on new years day it turned out to be the greatest. he even di his usual barking and tormenting my brother. lol I hope that everyone had just as an amazing holday and started the new year off just as happy as we did with our 2 happy puppies.
