Guest guest
Dear and everyone who has celebrated a recent Cancerversary, congratulations and thank you for sharing your joy in being able to celebrate with all of us. You all bring sunshine into someone's life, one who has great has fears for the future. We all have gloom that comes into our lives, whether it be us or a family member, but there are many reasons to celebrate life, also. Forgetting the anniversary of your diagnosis is a good sign and one we can all aspire to, and as Rhonda says, re-birth day. Detours sometimes allow us to see things we would not have seen otherwise. I remember when we were all trying to get into the STI 571 trial, that magic bullet that would set us free. For many it was a life saver that we had not seen the likes of before; there was no cure. For some of us, it gave us time and in the end, time is all we have. Today, thinking about a cure is not too far fetched and some of us will be around for it. I hope I am one of them, along with everyone else. Tonight when I retire, I will think of all my blessings, which you are all a part of, Lottie
