Guest guest
Hi Group, Wow, the meat and potatoes of this group is all the success stories. What good news you spread to our newcomers to give them the hope we didn't have when we were diagnosed. I was diagnosed 7/96. My first trial was so worthless, my doctor doesn't even remember it and next I went to INF + HHT. Need I say it was the pits? It's strange that we all have different reactions and some barely have any, even on high doses. I'm waiting for my BMA results in the next few weeks, so I am once again in limbo, will I or won't I have fewer Ph+ chromosomes???? I am back to being a yo yo, but the best news is I know I don't have to be in CCR or PCRU, because being in a holding pattern could be all I will get. The common denominator here is that we all live well, some better than others, but we will continue to hang in. Blessings, Lottie

I was diagnosed in 1998, and there was nothing available except for Interferon/Ara-C/Hydrea. I had to wait till 2000 to start my Gleevec. I go this week to get my PCR to see where I am with my remission. We also share all the other things we deal with in addition to our CML, including some laughs which we all need. Life Is Hard But God Is Good. I am just thankful that I am where I am and not where I used to be. >
