Guest guest
I saw a neurosugeon today. I brought a stack of things from the internet for him to look over if he was interested. Surprise, he did read them and recommended WebMD.com over all others because he said he knew some of them who wrote for other web sites. He knew them when he was either a student or a professior and disagreed with most of what they said, but he thought Webmd.com was the best. I went to websight after I returned home and started digging. One of the things I found was this article written by Dave Katterheinrich, reviewed by Dr. W. and was a feature article in the WebMD magazine. I happen to like and believe in what he says: I know some people see a cancer diagnosis as a death sentence. I actually see it as a life sentence, because it's making me do things I would otherwise have put off until retirement. I was a high school track and field star, and I used to race motorcycles. I can't do those activities anymore. But I can do lots of other things, like hunting, fishing, and archery. I just love to be outdoors. I'm also restoring a '62 Corvette. I am fighting cancer, not just for family and myself, but for the doctors and caregivers who have helped me as well. Blessings, Lottie
