Guest guest
I've had quite a few thoracentesis procedures. They had nothing to do with cml, however. I needed to have the procedures when I had ovarian cancer in the early 1990s. I was diagnosed with cml in 2004. I did not find the procedures painful. Lots of fluid was removed which provided much relief until the chemo started to do the job. After that I was fine until 2008, when I started to develop pleural effusions while on Gleevec. I was switched to Tasigna in June 2008. No more pleural fluid at all! You should ask about taking Tasigna instead of Sprycel. in NY **************Know Your Numbers: Get tips and tools to help you improve your credit score.
