Guest guest
I did this last year, picked a bunch of mulberries and made a smoothie with it. I didn't think it tasted soapy, just really, really bitter. Yuck! I didn't do that again. >smoothie. For some reason, it makes the whole thing taste soapy/detergent like. A handful will not taste bad but I put in about 4 >cups with a little lemon and it was horrid. Maybe I should cook them prior and then try making a sauce? I'm stumped. Any >suggestions? Just wondering why mulberries would taste so soapy when blended. Add sugar and it tastes like soap and sugar, >add lemon and it tastes like lemon and soap. It wasn't the container because I don't use detergent to clean it. Any mulberry pros >out there?
