Guest guest
Oh Marie I hate to tell you this, but this is pretty typical for a conventional doctor to act like this. How stupid of this doc to not know what to test you for!! She darn better have ordered atleast the tests that you told her to from what we talked about.. Well.. get the numbers and don't forget to post the lab ranges since every lab is different and ranges could be different... we'll get to the bottom of this my friend, don't you worry. Hugs... Guest guest
Thanks...I also just emailed Dr. Lowe. I hope that he might be able to shed some light on this subject as well. I know that I will probably need my results back so that I can fax them over to him. I just thought by chance he might have had a patient with my symptoms. By the way, do you think I can take regular silica or does it have to be homeopathic pellets? Marie Marie!!> > > > Hi Marie..> Happy to hear that your up and running again with your computer.. Guest guest
Dawn, Try not to be afraid of the surgery. I know it is easy for me to say. But let me tell you, although it is different for everyone, my explant was much less painful than the implant. Mine were under the muscle and I was told that it is more painful. I was on morphine after getting my implants and stayed in the hospital overnight. When I had my explant surgery I awoke and was eating peanut butter crackers and ginger ale. Yes, there was pain but nothing that good ol' perkocet couldn't cure. Just trying to make you feel better about it. Everyone experiences different things after explant but I have heard that explant is much less painful than implant! Guest guest
Dawn, be encouraged. Explant is so much easier than implanting. I can say that only from my own experience. 4 days post-op, and I'm doing great. I woke up after the surgery without major pain. For me, it just felt like I had a bad bra on, and it was actually the ace bandage wrapped around my breasts. I only had pain meds the first 12 hrs. post- op. One thing I did that helped was to just count the needle pricks. There's probably going to be only two. One for the blood work, and then one for the IV. I was given a pill pre-op, so when the IV stick happened, I was joking with the anesthesiologist. I know it can seem like a major event, and that is probably because the implant surgery WAS a major event. But hey, you know the probable outcomes of this one. Your health will likely improve. I was encouraged by the shares online of women who had such positive experiences during the explant surgery. It's a freedom kind of thing, and it's only a couple of sticks away. I tried not to think of what the surgeon would do actually, and what time it would take, and how I might or might not hurt. Walk through that fear, girl. You can do it. I'm feeling better already....just my opinion.....J

Guest guest
Dawn, I finally picked up some silica pellets. I found some herbal pellets at the vitamin store. I hope they help. I took 6 then waited a half hour and took 7 more. They said I couldn't overdose on these, I guess I will have to wait and see. I don't even care if my hair doesn't have new growth, I just want the falling out to stop!!!!! I also bought something called biotin, 5 mg. Has anyone heard of this? The gal at the store told me it worked wonders for her when her hair was falling out due to stress. So I figured it can't hurt!! I'll keep you informed IF I have any progress. By the way... Don't be nervous about your surgery! If anything you should have butterflies of excitement. It's the most liberating feeling to wake up and not have this elephant sitting on your chest! Remember the feeling of not being able to breathe when you were first implanted...well it's NOTHING like that!! When you can finally wake up from the anesthesia you realize that you can actually breathe and move and feel nothing but freedom. Then you look in the mirror and see this skinny little person that you haven't seen in a while. It's a welcoming change. The drains are pretty disgusting, but not a big deal at all. I was able to hide them from my children under my jacket for the 3 days I had them in. I'm so glad I did have them and you will see why with all the yuck that comes out of them. You don't want that junk floating around in your system. I am so excited for you. It's the best feeling to look in the mirror and see yourself again! Guest guest
Marie!!!! you are making me cry over here! I guess I'm alittle emotional due to upcoming surgery and probably alittle PMS thrown in there. Yeah, I can't wait to see " me " again. Problem is that I think I almost forgot who that is. I really do welcome the skinny me back again though. And, YES I remember gasping for air.. totally terrifying. Awwwhhhhh, Don't worry one bit, you really can't overdose on those things at all. Biotin is the ultimate vitamin for hair... there is a product called HAIR FACTORS, I think it is made by twin lab... It has Biotin, pantothenic acid.. ya know I have it down stairs.. I'd have to read the label.. Good stuff though. Plus the biotin is antifungal.. believe it or not.. Firstly, I think many thought I was lazy, I had been a person who did the work of 10 people and never tired or complained, then suddenly could barely shower or dress myself.... I too am a mother and also we own a biz and plenty more responsibilities that suddenly I could not manage, but had to try as there was no one to pick up my slack.... so I think they thought i was complaining and such.... after they saw the difference in me when I got proper treatment, then they realized how ill I really was, so now they understand, but when u r sick many people just dont get it.... but u cant worry about that, u must use your energy to get well no matter what others think. NOW about the statement " " " Is it really true that abx therapy in late stages is useless? " " " I do not believe this. I myself had my first full blown textbook lyme infection at 10 yrs old at camp, that was 33 yrs ago.... I was not treated of course, no one could figure out why I was sick and could not walk or use my arms.... anyway, I was probably reinfected later and also coinfections are a possibility, I grew up on eastern long island and pulled ticks off myself on a daily basis.... who knew.... anyway, I had major health crash about 3 yrs ago, close to death really... finally got a dr to treat the lyme.... within first 6 weeks i gained 15 lbs, I was at least 25 under due to illness etc... anyway each month on ABX I felt my body systems improve one by one.... muscles, joints, lymph, nervous system, headaches and head and neck issues, ears and facial pain, stomach troubles better, u name it, i had it, and all went thru changes as the meds got thru my system month by month.... that was almost a year ago and we are getting me off the abx now, to see how it goes. I believe my life has been saved, and it is never too late for abx. I think the lyme load within my body was so high I just could not fight it anymore, and the meds got my immune system working again by lowering the bacterial load and helping get my lymph system going again... as well as other organs... Other than the few times my symptoms brought me to the doctors over the years, and of course never diagnosed and no relief, I never had health issues nor was a constant doctor type person, and never had treatment of any kind for much of anything.... I sometimes think this plays a role, someone who had many other health issues and many treatments of abx for other things over the years, maybe that is why they do not respond the same as someone like me who never had meds etc during their lifetime. Along with ABX the doc said vit b (I had shots at home daily then weekly and still take them as I was very low on B 12 which is common with lyme people) Iron supplements, DHEA, fish oil and probiotics and daily vitamin, and of course i already did the right eating stuff... stay away from sugars and white flour items, junk food and soda etc etc etc... eating right helps. SO whether or not I am going to be good long term or have relapse time will tell, but in the meantime, I can do things I never thought I could do again so for that it is worth it.... I am not 100 percent of who I used to be, but 80 or more sure beats 5 percent. So I say ABX can be beneficial no matter how long one is sick. I do believe in supporting your system with supplements, but dont think the body can rid itself so easily of the overload after being sick so long without the ABX /// once the ABX knocks down the infection your system can then attempt to battle it itself with the help of supplements. Lastly, the link they sent u is a good one, (((Someone sent me a link yesterday that had a paper called ADVANCED TOPICS IN LYME DISEASE by ph J. Burrascano Jr, M.D._.)))) he is a respected lyme doc and is in the forefront of studying and helping people with lyme... hope this helps u. Guest guest
My surgery was solely for selfish, vain, cosmetic reasons so I didn't even try to get $$ from insurance as they wouldn't pay anyway. Dr. Feng is the best in my book... loved her, absolutely loved her. Very Pro environment. Good for you on making the decision to get them out... you won't regret it. > > > > Hello ladies, > > I have posted on here several times. I am considering an > explant with > > Dr. Kolb. I love my new smaller breasts.... they look better than they had pre implant. I'm so glad to have those things OUT. It's been a year for me and I must say it really was the best decision I could have ever made. I have thyroid issues also and may be stuck with it long term but it's completely manageable now. Guest guest
(((Dawn))), Thank you for that beautiful poem. I lost my " best " friend to murder 15 years ago. She was only 26 years old. I expected us to grow old together, talk about the fun times we had and the crazy people in our lives. She and her husband was found together on the highway in some nearby woods. I was living in California at the time 3,000 miles away and no one told me for months. We were close like sisters. She was family to me. Best friends are hard to come by. Special ones like that. I know it isn't the same as your situation, but the pain of the loss is. She was kind like your friend. An angel on earth. Mild mannered, gentle and inspirational. I never got to tell her how much she meant to me. I assumed there would be plenty of time for that. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I don't think her method of leaving this earth is all that uncommon given her circumstances. She may have been given a short time to survive with chemo or just didn't want to put her family through it. I am sure she tied up the loose ends before going. God bless her soul. I am sure that was an extremely difficult decisiion and her heart was breaking to leave her babies behind. God bless you and the family she left behind. peace and healing, Ebony --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min. Guest guest
I would not assume anything at this point. It is a good idea to get a copy of all medical records from here on out, and make a file folder to keep updated. Then you will have all information regarding your health care at your fingertips. I have referred to mine numerous times. Just make sure you get a copy of the operative report, and any othe reports or records in your medical files. Search your operative report for a discussion of how the implants were removed, and the scar tissue. It should be clearly mentioned. As for the fluffing, it is way too early to tell Dawn! The breast size will take up to a year to fluff out, so don't get too disappointed yet. I am so glad to hear you've seen such amazing progress so far. Just remember the road is unfortunately much longer than we want it to be, so don't get nervous if some of your symptoms return for a period of time after seeing some improvements. It does happen. Keep up the great work...you are a smart woman! PattyDawnsusan <dawnsusan@...> wrote: It was Dr. Melmed. I assumed he just did a capsulectomy, as he doesn't always remove straight en bloc, right? Plus I only have an areolar incision. The implants were intact, and he said he got the whole caposule out, as they were paper thin after being in only 1 year. All the cravings I had were from BEFORE surgery. Once I had surgery, I immediately began eating well, even though not on the yeast diet. My first meal after surgery was plain chicken, steamed greem beans and mashed potatoes. I never had anything but water after I left the hospital. I did have a little "Hershy issue" on the drive home, but we had a 20 hour drive and I got a little bored.Dr. Melmed said he noted that one seal was sliced open, like accidentally cut by a scalpel. Dr. Melmed said he found it like that. The seal was intact, just the little rubber outer strip is sliced in half. I am sending my implants to Dr. Blaise today.FYI -- I am about 3 weeks post implant. I can't believe it is only that! The good news is that my body pain, aside from my yeast herx, is down about 75 %. It took two weeks, but I think my heart issues are evening out a little. I was getting dizzy with a high heart rate when I stood up for the first few weeks. Pus I continued with the palpitations. That is abating. (In case anyone who doesn't know my story is reading -- yes I do have a cardiologist.)Neck range of motion -- back to NORMAL!! Muscle twitches -- reducing by about 1/2. Joint pain -- reduced about 50%. My knees are still problems, but it feels like a posterior tendon inflammation not internal joint pain like it was. Body stiffness -- reduced by about 75%. I think a lot of what is left is due to inactivity from being sick and I just need to start stretching.Brain fog -- reducing -- but that could also be from yeast treatment. I am so glad I wasted no time after realizing the connection. My implants were in only 1 year and two weeks. Downside -- I was really downsized! The cute swelling is gone, and although my breasts are a nice shape, I didn't seem to get any of that extra size you sometimes hear about. I am definitely an AA or A cup at this point. I can't imagine suddenly getting more size as my breasts continue to change. If anyone knows otherwise, let me know! It's rather an...athletic look!Dawn Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Guest guest
How very sad for her husband and family for such a young person to pass over I would like to think that Dawn passing over was in love and light. This sort of news - is a tap on the shoulder in two ways - It just makes one more grateful that the glivec medication (600mg) is continuing to work and other drugs continue to work for peoples own journey and brings to mind that one can never ever take CML for granted. How nice for Dawns friends to celebrate her life with their 1/2 marathon Cheers Sue (Aussie)
Guest guest
Hello Drasko, we also do have a biological clock in our body. The Germans call that Organuhr. If you Google for that you wiill find some sites with information. F.i. http://www.naturheilpraxis-voigt.de/organuhr.htm Be aware that electrosensitivity is just an illness, which houses in some organs and immune system. First the liver, than the stomach, etc. Greetings, Claessens member Verband Baubiologie www.milieuziektes.nl www.milieuziektes.be www.hetbitje.nl checked by Norton dawn Dear , and others who responded to my survey regarding feeling better after dawn, thank you very much for your kind contribution! I agree with and regarding possible relationship with ionosphere, just before explaining, I am concerned at the moment with attempts to collect and match other similar experiences, as I don´t fully trust myself... ´s observation suggests that an ancient wisdom could be based on similar observations, despite (apparently) not having much to do with the EMF issue... Likely, when I had a bakery, it was well known that the toughest part of the night shift was the hour just before dawn, independently on whether dawn happened at 4 (summer) or 6.30 (winter)... Also, some believe that hour is responsible for statistically higher possibility of machine failures, independently on human error, but I did´t make such statistics... By the way, possibly, there are more such observations hidden in the world, but whenever I search the net for something such mysterious (including Electrosensitivity), I keep encountering either scientific simplifications or ¨astral hallucinations¨... If you get what I mean, I would appreciate your suggestions for further research, not only regarding ES, as I think we have to look broader for understanding ES... For example as I consider ´s contribution regarding dawn precious for my survey, I would like to investigate further the ancient wisdom he presented, just I don´t know where to start... I mean - who does care for such stuff any more!? Drasko
