Guest guest
Lottie is in LA in terrabone hospital. She has C-Diff and has been very sick and in a lot of pain. The docs seem to have gotten the pain treated and were working on the infection and trying to manage hydration, anemia and neutropenia. I didnt talk with Lottie today but have been spaeking several times since Monday. Lottie went to the hospital on Tues and then went home but got worse and went back to ER. No doubt she will appreciate your prayers and support as she tackles this latest hurdle. As always she is taking this challenge with humor and strength. She has been calling to check on me! (- have been fighting infection for 8 weeks and am on the third round of anitb...). Here's hoping we are all well in 2009!!!!! Guest guest
dear group, i had been wondering about lottie, not seeing her on the list and all. i sure hope she gets better soon. i had c-diff for about a year before i knew what it was as i thought it was from gleevec and also thought it might be from irr.bowel.i also tried to call her, with no luck. my best advice to avoid these beasts like c- diff is stay out of hospitals if possible, if not have as few invasive proceedures as possible. i had been in the hospital 2 momths before i had signs of c-diff(on an emg)for 3 days, and i'm sure that's where i picked it up, it was a miserable experience. i was unconscious for 21/2days so they catherized me, something i had never had before. get well soon dear lottie, i does take awhile. i will watch for any news of her, as bobbie said, she needs rest more than anything now. hugs jean

Guest guest
Please give Lottie (and Jimmy) my hugs and prayers. This wonderful gal doesn't deserve these things that seem to come her way. She's certainly a real " gem " . Hugs, Judy P. I was wondering about her, not seeing her posts since Dec. 14. I knew something must be wrong.
