Guest guest
: I am just proud that you are doing something that could get you pregnant! So no matter how that second test turns out, you are at least living life and " spitting in the eye of CML " . That fact was not lost on me and it is encouraging to us all! With all the talk about baby showers, my cats are starting to get jealous! lol. Isn't it great that we can have fun with this mess sometimes? Guest guest
Great, this group never fails to entertain and to empower. Now we have Eva and trading puns on a pregnancy test. Let's hear more, you made my day. , weren't you made editor of our comic department????? Couldn't we all use a good belly laugh during these cold, clammy days? I met an Englishwoman at MDACC when I was in the BMS trial. She was in accelerated stage as all the available drugs had failed her, so she was the only person in the world on the RAD trial at that time and it was probably an off label drug. As far as I know it was being used for head and neck cancers. I have never seen any publications where it was used for CML. She used public transportation to come every day, because she had so many doctors to see. What did she do all day while waiting? She crocheted. She made baby blankets and sweaters for all the doctors who were expecting. What a great way to take the center stage away from CML and focus on something positive, like a new life coming in the world. Once I was able to leave the " campus " and return home, I never saw " Little Audrey " again, but I did ask someone and they said she was still around. God bless that little tiny woman for her courage against all odds, I hope she is still here, kicking CML to the curb. Blessings to all and may this be the year the word " cure " is on everyone's lips, Lottie
