Guest guest
Dear Patrice, I'm with you, I would love to be in the midst of the festivites in D. C. right now, and like you, I lack the stamina and a little squeemish to be around so many germ-carrying people. I didn't watch it on TV, but I figure we will be seeing it over and over in the news. CNN is seen in every country. No matter where I went, CNN was there. Maybe now people can live in the present and wish the best for our president and the country and an end to the division of red and blue states. That bothers me to the core, I would like to see a group of so-called non-partisans who are united. We are having a bit of a chill here, would you believe 40 is cold for us? It seemed to be very cold there in D.C., but with all those warm bodies, they clung together with a herd mentality. I hope your counts are stable and that you are enjoying life as best as you can. I just went for my CBC today and my counts were higher than I expected them to be, so that is something to be thankful for. I think Virginia is one of the most beautiful places in the US. My brother in law met and married a beautiful girl from the North Carolina mountains and lived his entire married life with her in Newport News. My husband's cousin was an ER doctor in Virginia Beach. We visited there many years ago, as I wanted to visit the Edgar Cayce museum. All best wishes to you. Blessings, Lottie
