I use kemp or linen bags for my sprouts and you need to soak sprouts overnight

to start them off (which I think you do for trays anyway). This is an excellent

time to add liquid kelp, as Sproutman says, to increase the nutrient value. So

DON'T throw away your liquid kelp!

I also use it in the water I dip the sprout bags in and they don't need extra

rinsing, so the kelp would stay on the sprouts.

btw... off topic. But I love Norwex and it's a very complimentary product to the

traditional foods way of life!!! It's literally changed the way I clean. So

green. Love it!

I wasn't able to work Bloomington into my schedule yesterday. is there any

other way I could get some?

I have most of our two buckets in the jars already and even helped myself to a

small helping this afternoon and ate it over eggs this morning. It's delicious!

I'm wondering if you have any idea when these batches were made. I haven't

lactofermented my own veggies before, so I'm not as familiar with the process.

Just reading NT, Fallon suggests it should keep for around 6 months in cold

storage and with such a big batch, I just want to make sure I consume it within

its beneficial period...although I know it gets better with time. Do you have

any direction for me on this? Also, I needed some large food grade buckets for a

different project and am wondering if that's what these 4 gallon buckets are.

I just want to send out an appreciation to everyone, Im learning so much about

how to use my Vitamix. I got it at COSTCO about a week ago, 6300. I like the

cookbook it came with, Savor. BUT, I must say I like the Whole Food one so much

more. (Thank you to Lee Ann who listed it under links and for sharing so much

of your knowledge.

Can't wait to try to make coconut butter, I love coconut.

I feel the same way..I can't speak with experience yet though. Today will be a

LONG day. I just checked my tracking number. She's on the truck for delivery

" sometime before the end of business day "

My problem is I have been all over the Internet reading all I could. Watching

videos etc. now I have managed to really confuse myself. Everything always looks

harder than it really is until you get your hands on it.

Because i have been looking around I think we can get the best advice right

here.
