Subject: Re: Re: About thyroids..... - Since you posted the nasty e-mail to me on this forum (instead of private...) I will respond. First of all, you were a client of mine in Aug 2003 and lasted 2 months with me. You sent me 2 very nice, handwritten notes BOTH stating " you are feeling better and thank you for helping me " . This is the first I am hearing from you since. It is not nice or kind to blast someone with such hatred and anger. If you have a problem with me, why didn't you contact me direct?? e-mail or phone. I am NOT a doctor, have never stated or pretended to be one!!! I did not 'blast' any product, just provided facts for those that want to learn; that ACTUALLY want help to get better. Please re-examine why you are on these boards to see that it is better to be positive then to be negative. Hormones, estrogen dominance... to state that so-and-so is a " REAL " dr.... does that give her more credibility??? How many of us have been to " real " drs. with no help. Please..... I am not here to " Sell my products " . I have been on this board 8yrs. and I don't need to sell anything to anybody, my business is way too busy now. Again, I would look inside and see why all the anger; it is not healthy. My products I use do not have 'tons of soy'.... know the facts. I hope others can benefit from free information. Blessings, sue massie, CNHP 732 933-4011 I also have been on this list for many years. I think about six. I have seen this thing come up with Sue M time and time again over these years. Sue why don't you answer people like this OFF the list and try to peacefully resolve it in a professional manner instead of psychologically analyzing and demeaning someone in public. Regardless of whether someone has a legitimate complaint or not, the professional should take the higher road and not answer back and blame the patient. I have seen you do this so many times and what you do is always turn around people's complaints and tell them point blank that they are angry or hateful and that they should look deep inside or they won't heal. In my opinion, this is emotionally abusive and inappropriate behavior, especially for a practitioner. A true professional would not publically reprimand someone, but would handle it behind the scenes. I have seen you many times tell people how angry they must be inside and turn it into a psychological analysis of someone who thinks you are peddling products. I am simply making an observation of what I have seen happen here over the years. And whatever you do, do not turn it on me as you have done before and told me to look at my anger. If this keeps happening to you when you come on the board, there must be a kernel of truth in it somewhere. I do know and believe that you help many people as I have heard that. You know that there will always be unhappy clients. That is just part of what you do. But how you deal with it publically is also a reflection of your own professionalism. Guest guest
Do you know if you need thyroid medication? Dr. Art Ulene answers your questions. If your blood level of the pituitary hormone called TSH is high, hypothyroidism must be suspected. If the TSH level is low, hyperthyroidism is likely. The diagnosis can then be confirmed by blood tests of thyroid hormone itself.
