So something different happened with this mornings smoothie

I put about 8 OZ water,2 collard leaves (frozen) and 2 flat slabs of frozen

pineapple broken up into fairly large pieces and turned the VM on variable as I

always have and then over to high...left it on for enough time to get a glass

and turned it off and poured it into the glass only to discover that for the

most part the blades have dances around the frozen pineapple ...so I added a few

pieces of ice and turned it back on variable (lower speeds) and let it chop a

bit before putting it on high...did a better job but it didn't obliterate it as

it normally does...any idea what is happening here?
