Guest guest
I haven't read whatever material this is in response to, no time now - but I can personally attest (and differ a bit with Monika ) that I've been vegetarian 8 years now, much of the time 'accidentally' vegan - just going daily with what felt good and there has been no detrimental affect, only good. I don't take b12 or other canned supplements, only concentrated chinese food herbs along with all organic regular foods. Meat is not needed at all. I don't need to know who is saying what about the minute biochemistry details, that's only partial information anyway. I know by living it and knowing many who are doing the same vibrantly. Guest guest
I am doing a vegan/raw vegan diet.. Our naturopath has us on a sublingual b total supplement.. We don't eat meat, dairy or soy anymore.. Even while detoxing..we get enough nutrition from what we are eating.. I agree with you.. People don't need dead animal protein to survive... All the protein is in the veggies and fruits themselves.. Guest guest
Hello group, My daughter and I have been vegan for about 17 years; neither of us regularly takes any vitamin except vit C, although we do supplement with herbs. And for the last several years I have eaten mostly rawfoods, even seeking out rawfood restaurants all over the country. Our health is excellent; our energy levels are beyond what most people can understand. My daughter does more at college than any other student I have ever known, and I look 20 years younger than my true age. "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food" is as true today as ever. If you give your body only the best nutrition it will function as it should; I think Americans have forgotten what people are supposed to look like, what we are supposed to feel like, what people are meant to eat. Just eat real food! Take nothing packaged, no artificial anything, no processed sugar, no drugs. Drink pure water, not what comes out of city taps. Reach for a piece of organic fruit instead of a candy bar or chips when you are hungry. You will be surprised what can happen when you give your body the nutrition it needs: weight will fall away, energy will increase, sleep will be deep and refreshing, moods will be much improved. And you will feel happier within yourself. Try it! Guest guest
According to Dr. Bob Marshall we were designed for raw food instead of cooked food. He also states that if we eat cooked food therefore 1/3 of our life is cut short unless you take certain digestive enzymes before (for the pancreas) and after (HCL) the cooked food meal. His company is called PR Labs, and I have been taking this myself for the last few months and I like the results so far. Guest guest
That's right I accomplish more than people can believe as well, while also raising two children myself. Detoxing is also important, which as you know our homeopathy does well, sometimes complemented a bit. I've not gone raw, my body does better with combination of raw salad stuff and the rest cooked - not too much though. It's important for everyone to find what intuitively feels best. I'm sure you've also seen in your practice how after the right remedy, people's eating habits naturally change for the better. Myself included...wanted to be veggie for years but couldn't do it until got going on deep healing. Thank you, Liz > > Hello group, > >     My daughter and I have been vegan for about 17 years; neither of us regularly takes any vitamin except vit C, although we do supplement with herbs. And for the last several years I have eaten mostly rawfoods, even seeking out rawfood restaurants all over the country. Our health is excellent; our energy levels are beyond what most people can understand. My daughter does more at college than any other student I have ever known, and I look 20 years younger than my true age. > >    " Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food " is as true today as ever. Try it! > > Health is possible, > > > > > > > Sholtz, Ph.D, RSHom(NA), CCH > *Registrar, North American Society of Homeopaths >

Cows are herbivores, they don't have any carnivorous teeth, whereas humans do.I could also say that certain animals only eat meat and they're very healthy, so that must mean we should avoid veggies and fruits. It's a ridiculous statement. Our bodies are very different than that of cows. I wasn't referring to calcium and protein as things that we cannot get from veggies and fruits alone. It is certain vitamins and minerals that simply are not found anywhere else other than meat and these nutrients humans need. Guest guest
I think the idea was what cows would gravitate towards eating naturally, if they had a choice. Not what the brilliant animal-nazi humans force down their throats. I've never seen a cow chase down a rabbit or a mouse for a snack... And I live in the middle of cow country here. People do terrible things to cows. Over here they cut off their tails so the milking guy doesn't have to occasionally suffer the ungodly experience of being smacked in the face by a swishing tail. Very fair and humane some of us, eh? > > > > > >>>>Cows are vegetarians themselves so where do they get their calcium and > protein? > >>Not from another species like we do. > > You also may want to read this before assuming that today's cows obtain > their protein from munching grass. > http://www.naturalcanines.com/gpage8.html > > " Every day, hundreds of rendering plants across the United States truck > millions of tons of this 'food enhancer' to dairy industry, poultry ranches, > cattle feed-lots, hog farms, fish-feed plants, and pet-food manufacturers. > This food enhancer is mixed with other ingredients to feed the billions of > animals.
