Guest guest Posted November 18, 2008 Report Share Posted November 18, 2008 Hi Everyone, I'd be curious to know if there are any members of the group who did NOT receive the email requesting you to join grouply. My best guess as to what caused this is that one of our members joined this " Grouply " thing which then allowed the Grouply robot to come into our group and pilfer our email addresses. Sort of the same way viruses get into your email system and steal your contacts. The best advice I can give is to NEVER give out any personal information to anyone, especially not to unsolicited email requests that you've received. I'll see what else I can find out but for the mean time I'm fairly confident that if you ignore the Grouply requests you have nothing to fear.
