Patients who switched to Tasigna due to Gleevec intolerance

Hi Everyone,

This study is about patients who were intolerant to Gleevec and

switched to Tasigna (Hi Matt and Barb and the rest of you who are in

this boat).

Of the 72 patients who crossed over from Gleevec to Tasigna because

they couldn't tolerate the non hematological side effects, only 5%

experienced the same side effects on Tasigna that they had on Gleevec.

For those of you who are finding Gleevec side effects to be

intolerable, I highly encourage you to discuss switching to another

drug with your doctor. I know Matt and Barb have first hand experience

with this and have said repeatedly how much better they feel on Tasigna.
