Guest guest
Barbara I will post onto the Talkbloodcancer in Australia your request. Question. Is there a Exercise Physio-oligist (spelling) EP attached to his Hospital or City who is proficient at dealing with Exercise and Cancer. Interestingly enough I participated last evening in a CML telephone conference initiated by the Leukaemia Foundation in Australia and the guest speaker was advising CML Patients of the type of exercise etc one could do with CML. Really interesting. The EP is attached to the Adelaide Hospital and this hospital is very progressive in EP for cancer and other chronic diseases. His background was two fold - in education of exercise for cancer people (won a Churchill Scholarship) and more interesting was diagnosed with AML at 16 years - went into remission - relapsed and had a transplant - became an elite athlete and progressed to study exercise. Would it be worth contacting the LF in Australia (Executive) and request information about the program thru this hospital and they maybe able to put Maelan in contact with someone in the same age group and sport profile. I will email the LF Support Group Executive contact for you and post your information and see if they can be of some assistance.
