Guest guest
I was diagnosed with Parathyroid disease a few years ago, and they also told me I was low on Vitamin D. I was put on a vitamin D supplement, but I stopped it because it made me feel all jumpy. I think I was on too high a dose. I have a low phosphorus and high normal calcium. If I even take TUMS for my stomach, my Calcium goes through the roof. I cannot have any calcium supplements. I still think I should be taking a additonal Vit D, other than what I get in my daily vitamin. They put me through 2 scans for the Parathyroid looking for a adenoma, but see nothing. As long as my numbers stay stable, they are leaving me alone. I see a few of you take Vitamin D. I do not get sun either, but thats partly due to the fact that I hate summertime. I am a winter person, but then you do not get out because its so cold. I need a good low dose of Vitamin D, but not sure what dose I should take.
