Guest guest
I would like to thank you for posting that question. I suffer from spinal stenosis and degerating discs. I would never think of UPS for your luggage. What a GREAT idea! That would save so much walking and standing. We should not have to miss life events because of our disabilities. Thanks again for your input!! spinal stenosis hi i have spinal stenosis in l,4,l5 and something else can you tell me what usually causes this and what can be done about and i have the pain in buttocks too i had surgery and had my ovaries, tubes 2 really large masses removed and about 3 weeks later i ended up with this so can you give me any answers thanks Shelia __________________________________________________________ The New Busy is not the old busy. Guest guest
Sheila, I would think that the surgery and onset of spinal stenosis are unrelated...sciatica and surgery could possibly due to poor positioning during a very long surgical procedure buy this is also unlikely,. I will say having had a oopherectomy for ovarain tumor and crohns...that until my spinal cord stim was placed...the pain that I awoke with daily, complained to every GI doc and ended up hospitalized numerous times thinking it was crohns pain...was in fact back pain. I realized this while on the table with my back filleted open during my stim procedure.....every time he manipulated the bad area of back I was screaming about my stomach....I was having referred pain from my back which caused pain that I felt elsewhere....you asked what usually causes stenosis...where and tear...bone spurs etc..you mentioned you have stenosis and " something else "  can I ask what that something else is (if it is private forgie me in advance) Deb RN  Debra ________________________________ ____________ _________ _________ __ From: shelia Long <slong400hotmail (DOT) com> spinedisorderssuppo rtgroup@gro ups.com Sent: Thu, April 1, 2010 3:11:38 AM Subject: spinal stenosis  hi i have spinal stenosis in l,4,l5 and something else can you tell me what usually causes this and what can be done about and i have the pain in buttocks too i had surgery and had my ovaries, tubes 2 really large masses removed and about 3 weeks later i ended up with this so can you give me any answers thanks Shelia ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _ The New Busy is not the old busy. Guest guest
Deb is absolutely correct. The surgery you had is not responsible for stenosis. Stenosis takes years, even decades to develop. It is the slow process of bone spur formation in your spinal foramen that causes the stenosis. NO surgery at all can cause stenosis. --- Babbitt ________________________________ From: Debra <i_ownaberner@...> spinal problems Sent: Mon, April 5, 2010 12:55:32 AM Subject: Re: spinal stenosis Sheila, I would think that the surgery and onset of spinal stenosis are unrelated... sciatica and surgery could possibly due to poor positioning during a very long surgical procedure buy this is also unlikely,.
