Guest guest
Hi guys This week I have been looking at all the great sayings and affirmations in Christmas Cards. I also sighted this affirmation in an article: An article sighted in our Sunday Times newspaper 14/12/08 sighted this great aspiration. The statments are perhaps appropriate to our life with CML or perhaps any other part of lives can be used when we face difficulties on oneself or as a family. The article states: [ Aristotle said & quot; One swallow does not a summer make, and neither does one fine day & quot; & quot;. This can be interpreted in several ways, but for me the lesson is that we all need to be careful not to overgeneralise. Just because one part of our life is difficult does not mean the other parts need to be infected; a problem in one life domain should not dominish positives and successes in others. Acknowledge the diffn article sighted in our Sunday Times newspaper 14/12/08 sighted this great aspiration. Acknowledge the difficulties adn challenges your facing and do waht you can to resolve them, but also reflect on all the good things in your life and appreciate them even more during times of diffulty. ] Sues comment: This is a great approach to set goals to " live with " CML and not " live it " -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One Christmas card with meaning reminded me of the CMLers and their unselfishness. It reads " One great, strong, unselfish soul in every community could actually redeem the world " authored by Elbert Hubbard The inside states: Thank you for making a difference. So while I wish you all a wonderful Christmas I also wish to thank you for making a difference to me. I salute you all. WHAT ARE YOUR AFFIRMATIONS ?
