Guest guest
Well put , you put into words what most of us with CMT go thru and feel. Fatigue has always been my biggest factor. I cured that hurdle by going to a wheelchair in situations where stamina is a factor. Stories like yours inspire the rest of us, thanx for sharing. Guest guest
I have a lot of fatigue. I also have a thyroid problem that makes me tired. The vitamin C that I take seems to have helped me ith the fatigue issue. Not as much as I would like but I do have more energy then I used to have. Guest guest
Yes, I usually feel the same way--always fatigued. After a couple of hours of yard work or after an hour of water aerobics, I don't have much energy left for the rest of the day. But because I have problems breathing at night and am now using a CPAP, I avoid taking naps during the day. I wish I had half the energy I had 20 years ago. --Joe
Guest guest
Dear Patti, I would certainly follow up on your doctor's advice. I am a patient at MDACC and see Dr. Kantajarian. He and Dr. Cortez work closely together, so I wouldn't have a problem seeing either of them. They reduced my dose to 20 mg. after I started because I couldn't take the side effects. There is someone else in this group who is on 20 mg. a day and PCRU. I will let her identify herself if she wants to respond to you. I will be going to MDACC on March 16, so it's possible I may meet or bump into you one of these days. If you want to know how to find me, I am always the oldest person in the room.
