Guest guest
thanks, you made me cry of happiness, I have a hard time typing right now, I cant see ,, lol,, but thank you from the bottom of my heart From: ROBERTA DOYLE Sent: Friday, January 23, 2009 7:32 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Farewell to XL228 Hi Jeanny, no, 1 1/2 means one and a half . But I have had CML for over 13 years. I just read your other email on how long we have to live. Today there is no death sentence when you get diagnosed with CML. Years ago, yes, today, no. There are too many new and good drugs on the market today, and they enable us to live long and productive years. Your daughter will live to see her grand children, and I am sure you can have a specialist verify this for you in a court of law if necessary. If you have a doctor that does not agree with this, go to another. Disappointing to say the least. I have been on Tasigna since Feb 08, and I finally got MMR. The first month can be rough, but you have dealt with worse. I am on 800mg, 400mg in the morning and 400mg at night. The only deal with Tasigna is you have to fast 2 hour before taking it and not eat anything for 1 hour after. So sometimes it creates scheduling issues. I take it at 6am and 6pm. Unfortunately, it requires me to eat dinner later than I would like. So that may be a contributing factor to my weight gain. Prior to taking it I was about 108lbs. and now 128lbs. But I have been off on my excerising for a while too...LOL, which doesn't help. ALL the best to you both, We fight by continuing, go warriors, you are still a big inspiration to us all.
