Guest guest
Ok gardeners. Does anyone have good ideas for lovage. I hear it is like celery. so good for stuffing. Any other ideas? i am assuming I just use the thin leafy stems as there are some REALLY thick stems as well. Mine is just starting to bloom, the buds have not opened yet but it is getting tall So I am trying to figure out what to do with it. Has anyone tried freezing it? I'm thinking of drying some. Again I am just assuming one uses the thin leafy branches not the thick stalks. This is my first time using it. I got a very small plant last summer as a gift. I might have seen it used in a dream pillow too. I will have to check that out. There was some nonedible purpose for me wanting it orriginally. Also I am trying garlic scapes (or as I have nick named them, garlic snakes) for the first time, as any great ideas for that would be cool. I bought some at the farmers market this past week, just for fun.
