Guest guest
Sylvia, thank you for your advise. However I don't have the money to do this. christa From: Sylvia <h10feet@...>Subject: Re: low thyroidhealth Date: Monday, September 15, 2008, 5:00 PM Christa,I would like to highly second what has said below. Before youassume it is your thyroid (low or High or potentially Auto-immune)have Thyroid blood-work done.Ask that they check both TSH and Free T-4. Once you are sure it isyour thyroid there are many things you can do to either reverse orstall the process. (And yes i have been diagnosed with Hypo-Thyroidand no i dont take meds for it...ANYMORE ;o) )#1 thing would be to review your diet and exercise regimine and thenmaybe do a cleanse.Sylvia>> You might want to consider getting the blood work done to confirm -or eliminate - your suspicions before you TREAT anything.> > Ev>

I had to assume that since my post was the ONE that went unanswered I had stepped in it up to my armpits. And that post was me being conservative!!! Ev - who is going to forward your post to her husband, who has been on thyroid meds for a few years now and MIGHT be interested to read that. and hopefully more!! Guest guest
Thanks Sylvia, I garantee you it would cost here at least three times as much. Probably just to get a nurse practitioner to write a slip:-) My priority are my dogs right now which two of them have cancer and one has to be euthanized. This will cost me about $200. I wanted it done yesterday, but they wanted $90 more... nothing is cheap here.... christa >>I dont either - but something i do to make sure my " natural " efforts to keep my Thyroid in balance are in check. I get a Nurse Practitioner to write my labs slip and then i go to the lab of my choice to get the work done. If you are not in a super small town, sometimes a lab will give a " cash " discount to patients who do not have insurance (like me). My Thyroid labs usually run around $30. i think?<<
Guest guest
Like the supplements that have thyroid tissue and some thyroid hormones in them or general supplements to support thyroid health? -Nigel On 8 April 2011 10:10, Bill F <bfwl54@...> wrote: > > Nigel, > > Is there a supplement you can take if you have low thyroid? >
