Guest guest
Hello, I have a question for anyone. My son is on Zoloft and has been for about 2 weeks now. Yesterday he started itching alot (which is a problem anyway for him), but he had red blotches all over his torso. Then this morning about an hour after I gave him his Zoloft he started itching again. I took his shirt off and he was covered in a red rash that really looked like blotches of hives to me. I called his doctor to see if this was a reaction to the Zoloft or not. Still waiting to hear back. My other thought was, this past monday he started therapy with his O.T. We are doing a brushing technique with him to try to de-sensitise him from itching all the time, tags bother, socks bother, clothes, people touching him etc.... I was wondering if maybe this brushing of his skin every two hours is stressing him so much that he broke out with these hives. I don't know what to think. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks, Jenni
