If you aren't sure how to generate a quality battle cry, just holler nonsense at the top of your lungs. I can pretty much guarantee that doing this will cure your friend or family member of hiccups. Provided, of course, that you don't do this sort of thing on a routine basis. And yes, this little suggestion on how to cure someone of hiccups was inspired by me doing just this for my wife on Sunday. After just a brief look of terror appeared on her sweet face, she broke into the biggest gales of laughter ever, and to her and my pleasant surprise, she was cured. I don't believe I've ever had a prouder moment. Not so much because I cured her of her hiccups. But because my battle cry was so fierce and spontaneous. Okay, enough about hiccups for now. I have four new items today, so please pick and choose those that perk your interest. *** The latest on the usefulness of arthroscopic knee surgery, including the 3 most effective ways that I know of to address or prevent arthritis of the knees: http://drbenkim.com/arthroscopic-surgery-knees.htm *** The biggest mistake that I see most people make in trying to build and maintain healthy bones, including a calcium-rich and healthy alternative to dairy: http://drbenkim.com/recipestahinidressing.html *** The health benefits of eating sesame seeds and leaves, including three recipes that are good for building strong teeth and bones: http://drbenkim.com/articles/sesame-health-benefits.htm *** An overview of how your nervous and endocrine systems work to keep your well on a second-to-second basis: http://drbenkim.com/nervous-endocrine-system.htm *** That's all for today. Just in case you try running at a friend or family member with the noble intention of curing hiccups, please remember that you should never make such an attempt first thing in the morning or if you are feeling sluggish - to break into a sprint when your body is not feeling spry is a memorable way to bust an Achilles tendon. Really, I kid you not - the vast majority of tendon tears that I have encountered over the years have occurred to people while they were over-exerting themselves early in the morning, when blood circulation is at its worst. Wishing you and your loved ones a healthy week, Ben Kim P.S.
