Guest guest
There is also hiatal hernia. As far as I know, the only way to discover for certain if you have one is an endoscopy. It's quite common for people in their middle adult years to have one and never be bothered by it. If it becomes so large that most of the stomach is protruding into the chest cavity (as opposed to the abdomen, where it belongs!), the effects can be serious and it would require surgical correction. Is bending forward after a meal a problem? You may have a hiatal hernia. Ev
