It depends upon the recipe, IMO. For soaps that darken, no gelling is

better. I usually gel, but only because I CPOP, not because I think gel

produces a better soap. I'm just in a hurry. :-)

I exactly know what you mean most of the time I CPOP as well. I just realized

recently though to not do it with my Castile. It was a disaster. in my opinion.
