Not all reconditioned machines are returns from defects-many of them are demo

models, floor displays, or even just open box items that can't be sold as new.

A unit is " refurbed " for any reason, but regardless of the reason, they are run

back down the production line TWICE, to ensure there are no issues. This is why

I actually prefer refurbs...I feel like they got a better going over, lol.
