Hello,

Please, I need some suggestions about probiotics -- which one to buy, where, etc.

I was checking in a health food store and I found some little containers with something similar to yogurt with flavors.

I'm not sure what to buy.

Thanks,

Rena

I use a brand called PB8. Doesn’t

need to be refrigerated.

Thanks,

In the PB8 brand that someone suggested, some are in gelcaps - so you

wouldn't want to take those if you are a vegetarian. And it also has

sugar in it. ??? Why??? Why does a probiotic need sugar? It

doesn't - it's used as just a filler, probably.

But what it does need that you should be looking for, is a PREbiotic,

blended right in, which makes the PRObiotic work all that much better

and faster and helps to make those good little bacteria proliferate.

The kind I use has eight kinds of good bacteria, plus Jerusalem

artichoke and organic algae (they act as PREbiotics - they feed the

PRObiotics), and enzymes. So look for something like that, that

especially has the artichoke included because of the inulin. And make

sure that the acidophilus included is the DDS-1 strain.
