An old Chinese remedy for high blood pressure is to drink celery juice, which you can make in a blender or juicer. One to two glasses daily can help prevent or normalize high blood pressure. High blood pressure is often responsible for strokes, heart disease and kidney failure.

I read in one of my herbal books (years ago) that it was for that very reason mentioned above that celery should NOT be consumed daily for longer than (one?two?) week at a time.

So I guess if you are NOT having problems with high bp, maybe taking it in more moderation...??

it also is somewhat of a diuretic.. but as in all things.. "IN MODERATION" when we overdo things we get in trouble...

What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered.
