Guest guest
Yup yup, I play World of Warcraft mostly these days. Although I will still dabble in Diablo II or the original Dungeon Siege games. I also test games online in betas for various companies and screen games for my kids. It distracts me from the constant barrage of homework and paperwork for the children. It also costs me nothing because a long time gaming friend pays for my account. I have an impaired short term memory that is improved ten-fold by gaming at high levels. It requires reading, typing, hand-eye-coordination, tactical thinking, and social interaction on my part – and I love it. I mostly just play my DS- when i need a minute to clear my head, or sometimes when i need to wake up in the morning - it makes me have to focus. I actually noticed a bit of improved brain power after playing Brain Age every day for a month. And of course i have been spending time recently " playing " with my WiiFit (but not nearly enough as the WiiFit continues to tell me i am Obese! like i didn't already know that!)
