Perhaps oil pulling/swishing would help. Seems to help with many things. 1 tsp of a good vegetable oil and swish it around in your mouth for 5 minutes every morning.

Anyone know of a good treatment for periodontis? I've been using herbs, internally and topically; propolis, cayenne formula from Schulze and other herbalists, herbal mouthwashes, and conscious of brushing and flossing. I've gone off sugar and white flour pretty much and am vegetarian. I take vitamin C to bowel tolerance. But the infection seems to be unremitting. There is no bleeding, only swelling and a white line around the gum line, which I assume is infection. I also see small white bumps in my gums, again maybe signs of infection. I don't take abx so I would like to find an alternative way to help this if possible before it gets to the bones.Appreciate any thoughts,Dovecote

Yes, I have tried that in the past, and it is a good suggestion but I have a

problem with oil in my mouth. I then tried just applying sesame oil, and

then coconut oil topically but it didn't go over well. I don't know how long

I would have to do it to see results, but I may have to do it..

Thanks.
