Guest guest
I've also read that the "baby carrots" are, like someone said old or bits and pieces of carrots. They are rolled around in something like a front loading washer to make them cute and rounded on the ends. Now I'm wondering about the organic baby carrots I get at my co-op. I'm going to ask them if they are really carrots or pieces of carrots. S
Guest guest
Hi Lottie, I don't understand why these carrots are unhealthy. Was there a warning issued by the FDA? Is the chlorine unhealthy for you? I have been drinking city water all my life, and it contains chlorine. Guest guest
Oh my goodness Lottie, I have a lovely home grown crop of baby carrots reading to harvest and when I first started reading this thought my baby carrots weren't going to be good at all! My grand children have been hanging around like vultures waiting for them to grow big enough to eat them! I don't think I have ever seen those type of carrots here, only bunches in their " natural " glory still. It is a sad indictment of the type of rubbish that we are being fed.
