Guest guest
Dear Tim, Aloe vera is over 94% water in the plant gel. Freeze drying it results in a fine, fluffy powder that is incredibly light. Best of Health! Saul Pressman URL: http://www.plasmafire.com email: saul@... Guest guest
LamourDelaVie@... wrote: Is aloe a bowel cleanser at all? Hi Jo-Ann I just ordered this 10 colon cleanse kit, I've been waiting about 3 years to order it, I've read about it in a book called Oxygen Therapies by Ed McCabe. 10-Day Colon Cleanse Kit The 10 Day Colon Cleanse is a natural formulation effective in the removal of hardened fecal matter accumulated in the folds and crevices along the colon wall. There are a number of contributing factors in the buildup of waste and hardened mucus in the lower digestive tract; poor diet, incomplete food digestion, illness and intestinal flora imbalance, to name a few. The 10 Day Colon Cleanse is simple to follow and requires no colonics or fasting. In fact it is designed to work with your meals. The paragraphs below outline the four components of the program, and their ingredients. Desert Delight Aloe Vera Juice ALOE VERA JUICE: Cold pressed from hand filleted, certified organic aloe vera. No Aloin or bitter taste. Full strength; not watered down. May be mixed with fruit or vegetable juice. Desert Delight Special Drink ALOE VERA JUICE: Cold pressed from hand filleted, certified organic aloe vera. No Aloin or bitter taste. SEAWEED ALGINATE: Helps heal and stop bleeding where ulcerative conditions exist. ABC - Aerobic Bulk Cleanse PSYLLIUM HUSK: Blonde Psyllium Husk, the highest grade, as a bulk fiber. HIBISCUS FLOWER: (China) Soothing effect on mucous membranes. LICORICE ROOT: (China) An anti-inflammatory and expectorant, prevents cough, sooths irritation. FOENUGREEK SEEK: (India) Relieves gas pains, aids in the balance of blood sugar levels. PAU D' ARCO BARK: (Brazil) Antibacterial agent, expels worms and other parasites. HYSSOP LEAF: (Eastern Europe) Soothes tissues, breaks up hardened mucous, mild sedative. AHB - Aloe-N-Herb Brew YELLOW DOCK ROOT: (India) A mild laxative, tonic, alterative, and used against certain skin diseases. CHAMOMILE: Promotes proper stomach function, fights nausea, prevents spasm, and is a mild sedative. ALOE VERA JUICE: Nutritive, healing and soothing properties. WHITE OAK BARK: Used as an astringent (stops bleeding), effective against hemmorhoids and fever sores. FLAX SEED OIL: Effective against colon problems and used as an anti-inflammatory. GOLDEN SEAL ROOT: Tonic, mild laxative, helps stop bleeding, anti-inflammatory. 10-Day Colon Cleanse ***IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS*** Your 10 Day Colon Cleanse Kit contains: Two half-gallons of Desert Delight Special Drink. This is a special blend of Desert Delight Aloe Vera Juice, Seaweed Alginate and food grade hydrogen peroxide. The Special Drink is designed to sooth the intestinal tract, especially if any ulcerative conditions exist, and to ‘prep’ the colon, softening any compacted fecal matter along the colon wall. One gallon of Desert Delight Aloe Vera Juice. Certified Organic, Hand Filleted and Cold Pressed and contains no additives or preservatives, maintaining the natural benefits of the plant. You might be able to see pulp in the container, and if you see it has settled to the bottom, shake the jug to disperse this throughout the juice. Heating and filtering destroy many of the beneficial qualities of the aloe vera plant. One 12 oz. Container Of Aerobic Bulk Cleanse. Taken with Aloe Vera Juice and Aloe- N - Herb Brew, the ABC goes right to the G.I. tract to moisten and stretch the intestinal walls. Hardened, fecal matter, mucous strands and coal-black rubbery matter you may have in the folds of the colon wall will be pushed out naturally. Used for over 15 years, ABC is a natural non-habit forming bulk cleanse. One pint of Aloe-n- Herb Brew. Designed to last only the first five days. AHB penetrates and softens the hardened mucus lining of your colon wall. Also, It expels worms and parasites while cleansing your colon and soothing the colon walls. The only product of its kind, AHB contains aloe vera, chamomile, golden seal, yellow dock, flax oil and white oak bark. Eat a healthy diet containing lots of fruits and vegetables, take a probiotic supplement, such as Multi-Dophilus, and drink at least eight glasses of water per day! Step 1 30 Minutes before a meal - drink 4 oz. of Desert Delight Special Drink (from the half-gallon containers.) Mix with up to 4 oz. of your favorite fruit juice for flavor if desired. Step 2 30-45 minutes after a meal: In an 8 ounce glass add: 4 ounces Desert Delight Aloe Vera from the gallon container 1 ounce Aloe - n - Herb Brew (the first five days only) 1- 4 ounces fruit juice or water to help with taste (optional) 1 tablespoon Aerobic Bulk Cleanse Stir rapidly and drink Immediately Step 3 Drink at least 8 ounces of water immediately (This adds moisture to the GI tract and helps the liver and kidneys to eliminate waste.) Repeat with each meal, or three times a day for ten days.
Guest guest
This sounds like the 10 day Fibre System Plus product available from 4Life/Shaperite... It is also a 10 day intestinal cleansing program which is gentle. I don't believe it contains aloe, but it does have 27 other herbs, many of which you listed as part of your formula. Guest guest
Hello Jori, We have large old aloe plants in our back yard and I have also been curious about how to extract the gel for use in some of my products. I hadn't thought of freezing it for future use, but that's a great idea. Here is some information I found on the internet about how to extract the gel and make it more viscous. I also read somewhere on the net that there are some applications that you might not want the skins for. I can't recall exactly why, but maybe they are too bitter or irritating or something. I hope this helps. Gail Aloe Vera Gel:Directions for extracting Aloe gel from the leaf: For maximum nutritional potency, use only leaves from plants that are at least four years old. Cut off ½ an inch off the base of the leaf and discard. We recommend cutting a two-inch strip at one time and processing it in the following way: First, trim the thorny edges on each side of the Aloe strip. Then, carefully cut away the green skin from the gel (on both sides). Once the gel is extracted, rinse it with cool water to remove any hint of bitterness. The colorless gel can be eaten directly or blended into a liquid.

Guest guest
I don't know the official reason, but in botany classes in college the teacher mentioned how amazed he was that anybody would ingest the stuff, as it's bad news for ulcers. It's still fine to use on burns or sunburns, EV Olive oil is great on sunburns too, it helps reduce the risk of skin cancer from the sun damage. I put it on after the burn had cooled off a bit, and it didn't make it feel warm like I was worried it might. Aloe Can anyone tell me why aloe is an avoid?
