Hello Ramon,Sometimes it isn't what we put in our diet that helps, but what we take out. A good book to help you find hidden food allergies is called, "Diet Wise" and can be found here: http://blenderlady.com/misc-information/There are lots of articles that might be helpful here:http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=joint+pain+food+allergies & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8For me, eliminating wheat and sugar greatly improved my health…

Hi folks,

I'm new to the group and I would like to know what I can be including in my green drinks and/or smoothies to help alleviate joint pain. They don't hurt all the time but often enough. Any thoughts and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was typing the EXACT same words as Lea Ann when I saw her reply. Often, joint

pain and other ailments are caused by hidden food allergies, so determining

those is more important than adding new things in TO a diet. I recommend

keeping a detailed food journal to determine hidden allergens. In my case, I

went from being bedbound and crippled from hidden food allergies, but am healthy

and well now that I avoid my triggers. Often, salicylates and amines, which are

naturally occurring in all fruits and most veggies can be the culprit, but corn,

soy and wheat are common triggers too. At the very least, you will want to make

sure that ALL of your fruits and veggies are organic, to avoid toxins from

pesticides, waxes, herbicides, etc.

I have read several times that cherries and cherry juice (esp black

cherry) help with arthritis related pain.

Ramon,

I agree with all the advice others have posted for your question. I just wanted

to add that my husband has a lot of pain in his shoulder. Every morning to our

smoothie I add powdered ginger, turmeric and cinnamon as well as 1 inch of

ginger root to help his pain. I add garlic, celery and onion to our salad every

day to help with his pain also. We have cut out sugar, wheat, meat and

especially dairy to help my husband with his pain. He is better, but the pain

is not all gone. He is not faithful in following a diet like I am. Keeping a

food journal is a great way to see if there are any specific foods that cause

your pain. I have been keeping one for me since January and it has been

helpful. I figured out that the cacao nibs were why I was not sleeping well and

staying up so late on the days i ate those. The more time I spend eating

healthy, I feel better every week.

Good luck,

Janet

incense, Tumeric, & Ginger

Scroll down on this webpage and read about frankincense, tumeric and ginger.

Have been taking this for over a year and shared with several friends who have

said that their pain improved. If you don't want Mrs. Mango's pills, look into

adding boswella, tumeric and ginger into your smoothies.

Good luck,
