Guest guest
maybe you're allergic. I just found out I am allergic to broccoli. You can be allergic to anything. Anyways, broccoli is a man-made genetically modified food, it is hybrid of cauliflower and asparagus so maybe the huan body has not had time to adapt to such a new species yet. Just a thought. joanne_finigan <joanne_finigan@...> wrote: hi bee i've been having about 2-3 full heads of broccoli every day, cooked just tender and i feel worse, could to much broccoli feed candida, if its not that maybe its just detox, what do u think, thanx joe --------------------------------- Building a website is a piece of cake. I had problems with broccoli when I was doing my candida program too. I do not know why. I suggest you only have very small amounts at a time. Guest guest
Broccoli Why It's Healthy: -- One medium stalk of broccoli contains more than 100 percent of your daily vitamin K requirement and almost 200 percent of your recommended daily dose of vitamin C -- two essential bone-building nutrients. -- The same serving also helps stave off numerous cancers. Quick Tip: Zap it! Preserve up to 90 percent of broccoli's vitamin C by microwaving. (Steaming or boiling holds on to just 66 percent of the nutrient.) Guest guest
Broccoli is not on the original protocol list, but I ate it, as well as zucchini, and had no adverse effects. I also mixed vegetables and still lost weight. Others may have had different results, but I experimented a little with common sense items. I ate water-packed tuna and stayed away from beef. Lost 27 lbs in 5 weeks, and 3 weeks later no weight gain in p3. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, those are amazing results. Just curious did you have a lot of weight to lose or were you aiming for around 27 lbs? Guest guest
Lots if weight. I still have 58 lbs. However, I did this with a friend who only needed to lose 25, and her results were the same, she reached her goal. Guest guest
I was told to expect to average .6 lbs/day. Others claim a pound a day, but I don't know anyone in person who was able to do that for 6 weeks straight. Guest guest
Ok that's good to hear. I've been averaging about .5 per day but I was reading some posts where people are losing 1 -2 lbs per day and I was starting to wonder why I wasn't seeing the same results.
