Guest guest
Hi, I got this article couple of weeks ago and wonder how serious it is. It is about breakfast cereals that we usually give to our children. And these products which also involve a few famous brands are slammed because of the level of salt and sugar. Thus, according to nutritionist Dr Rosemary Stanton, they are not that nutritious as promotionally claimed. The products include Kellogg's Nutri-Grain cereal with sugar and salt content standing respectively at 32g and 600mg per 100g. Nestle's Milo cereal was criticised over its sugar content with the report underling levels of 29.5g per 100g, And Lowan Cocoa Bombs are " very low in fibre and high in sugar. " We have these Kellogg's Nutri-Grain cereal and Nestle's Milo cereal over here in Malaysia. But I'm not sure about Lowan's.
