Neptune Krill Oil, sold by Mercola. Neptune is a private company

that only sells their brand of krill oil to private companies that

then package it under their name. I've seen it at Mercola and I've

seen the same oil in a supplement sold through Herbalife, but that is

it. That stuff is wonderful and it works.

She might also try the Budwig diet for a month and see what

happens. Dr. Johanna Budwig, and you can find her by googling " the

budwig diet " . Basically you mix organic flax seed oil with organic

cottage cheese and eat it every morning. I know a woman that used

that method for her cholesterol and saw her levels drop from about

380 to 210 in about 5 weeks. Yep, that is true!

Cholesterol is not the bad bugaboo many drs make it out to be. Your brains needs cholesterol to function. If she is worries about heart attacks, have her read Linus ing's ideas on Vitamin C and cholesterol.

The basic idea is that the arteries near the heart are stressed by the pump, pump, pump of blood. Eventually, without enough vit C to repair them and keep them limber, they develop stress cracks. The body does not want to have the cracks get larger and leak blood, so it repairs them with bandages made of placque. Then more placque adds on and eventually creates blackages. There is a "bad" cholesterol called LP(a) that makes the placque. It senses the proteins L lysine and L proline in the open cracks and slams a bandage on them. To avoid this, ing recommends people take 4 to 6 grams of C daily, plus suppliments of L lysine and L proline. The lysine and proline keep the LP(a) busy while the C lets the body heal itself. It is really a form of scurvy causing weakness in connective tissues.

Hope this helps.

I knew about this diet recommended for cancer. I gave it to my dog a few years ago, but it didn't do anything. Perhaps it may work for ldl.

Thank you,

Rena
