it's also a recommendation in TCM to avoid drinking cold drinks...

what is discussed here is a practical reason why NOT to drink cold

drinks!

I do drink cold water when it is in the 100s here. Then I swear I can crunch

the water in my teeth. It crackles without ice. The taste is totally

different from warm or cool water. I am on a good tasting well, so the water

is like a food.
