Guest guest
HI Dana: Now I understand why the weed-pulling consequence has worked so well for Steve! When is the jump rope contest? I hope not too far off. Isn't it unfair how OCD takes a fun thing and turns it into torture for our kids. THe up side is that it is good for her cardiovascular fitness. May your weeds grow strong and tall, take care, aloha, Kathy (H) kathyh@... Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Who'd a thunk it with the weed thing huh? The jump rope contest is Saturday. She's really having a good time with it, she just has her little worries which to her are an everyday thing anyway. I asked her what would happen if she didn't do her clapping ritual and she said " nothing, but why should I stop? " . She LIKES her counting and clapping things and her breathing things and her walking things etc.. She doesn't like intrusive worry thoughts but she refuses to see that giving in to the former may fuel the latter. It's funny how she's not nervous or worried about things most kids are, like making new friends, speaking up, walking into a new group, competing when you're new at something ( she won a 4 school free throw contest although she's never played basketball and she didn't know the other kids competing) etc.. Instead she worries about germs on the bathroom pass or her back hurts maybe there's something wrong with her should she see a doctor. Go figure. Guest guest
Dear , " From the desk of Doolittle. This is not complaining, just telling it like it is. " Sometimes that is the hardest thing to do. *hug* " Now I have a cable modem & am doing well over 100 hr. a month (I need a life) *S* " LOL.... we get cable on Wednesday! HURRAY!! " I am on a Being Sick list as I happen to have sarcoid. I am a major caregiver to my wife! " I think you need the support for the caregiving part the most. Being a carer is not easy - but when you are in a wheel chair and are ill yourself it only goes to show just how much of a loving person you are yourself. Do not worry if you cannot write often. We all understand. Just know that we are here if you or your wife have a bad day, and you need to talk about it. I know you are a caring person and are here to support me and all of us that are not well. But remember that in order to assist others you need to look after yourself too... so dont feel you *have* to be here everyday. Just read what you want, when you want, reply to what you wish and enjoy each and every day! with love Aisha. ___________________________________ *Art* http://www.elderwyn.com/gallery *Auctions* http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem & item=286607834 *Music* http://www.elderwyn.com/compositions *Interactive Fiction* http://www.elderwyn.com/fiction *Inspiration* http://www.elderwyn.com/inspiration *Medical Resources and Support* http://www.elderwyn.com/medicallinks *Aisha Elderwyn* http://www.elderwyn.com/aisha

Guest guest
Hey , This is great progress! It's a wonderful thing! Sometimes it is so slow that we are barely aware of the progress we are making, but when we look back and see how far we've come, it feels pretty good, doesn't it! I am really happy for you! I hope you are feeling great and are enjoying all your projects, and family. Patty Lamse <wannabe_proverbs31@...> wrote: Good Afternoon Ladies, This is just a quick note to explain what I have been up to lately, and why I haven't posted much. First, my stepson, Nate, came home fromt he Air-Force for a two week visit. We have been trying to fit in family visits with grandparents and such. Also, my two youngest girls are away at a Christian Camp this week. While they are gone, I am trying to change the kids' rooms around. They all had their own rooms, with my 14 year old in the basement. We found mold in her room, so we have to get her out. I am doubling up two girls and moving them in the the biggest bedroom. Thus causing all four kids to move around. This has been hard. I am doing all I can, while the kids do most the heavy lifting. Luckily, I have Nate here to help. I hope to be done by tomorrow when my little ones come home from camp. I also trying to get caught up on posts, but while trying to work most the day in the kids' rooms, I fall from exhaustion at the end of each night. I just wanted to let you all know that I am still here and thinking of you all. The best part is Sunday, we are leaving to take the kids camping for a week. So, I will be gone for a while then too. I will have a whole week to relax after all this stress. The good news in all this is that Randy said that I am getting around better this past month then he has seen in a long time. He is convinced it is because of the ion foot bath. I am still doing them every three days and the kids whenever I can get them in it. I have noticed a difference in energy and that I don't tire out as fast as I used to. I also noticed that I would not have been able to keep up with moving the kids bedrooms around months ago. Maybe this is how I noticed the mold in my daughter's room in the first place. Months ago, I barely had energy to go up and down the basement stairs. Thanks for listening, I love all you ladies. Do you ?Next-gen email? Have it all with the all-new Beta. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
There are naturopaths in MPLS.... I assume they're not cheap and not covered by insurance!?!? Aaah my liver. That ones questionable. All the swelling under my ribs that was sending me to the ER thinking my guts would explode back in February..... that was my liver. And the "drink a glass of red wine, its good for your stomach" advice I got from a lady at church..... half a small glass later I was tanked. And had a bad migraine the next day. I'd imagine that's my liver not working well.ARG! Kelvin, some very good info for Candace. Candace, question.. do you have a naturalpath anywhere near you? I would seeking them out for a second and even third opinion to the dr and surgery. Have they checked your liver also? I'd be curious to know how it is functioning along with your gall bladder. Guest guest
in your current state, dear... anything like an " innocent " glass of wine is just more toxin burden load on your already overtaxed system. stick to a predominantly alkaline system of foods/drinks (water) for now. you can indulge in the vices when your system can afford to later down the line! Guest guest
I'm not real big on alcohol.... have seen alcohol destroy peoples lives far too many times in my life. I surprisingly don't really even miss my naughty little treats anymore like coffee and chocolate. Don't really even think about them.... I think "oh some coffee would wake me up" but I don't crave it so don't care. >>> There are naturopaths in MPLS.... I assume they're not cheap and not covered> by insurance!?! ?>> Aaah my liver. Guest guest
The liver controls alot of things... Have you thought about taking milk thistle?? Getting the liver functioning properly could cure up alot of things. I'd be curious to hear from our Naturalpath on line... Suzi List Owner health/ http://360./suziesgoats What is a weed? Guest guest
The headache could have been from the sulfur used to spray the growing grapes. Try to find an organic or naturally made wine - no sulfur. A local friend of mine has almost the same reaction - no migraine, but a roaring headache from any wine but his own. That is, if you still want to try it. And yes, the immediate high could be from the liver not working well. Guest guest
Every time I see the words "milk thistle" I think how on earth do you take that? Is it in a pill? Is it something you mix with your food? Based on suggestions and some thinking I ordered a few things today.... coconut oil flax seed aloe juice Acidophilus and Bifidus probiotics bee pollen (some one said its EXCELLENT for energy!?) Dr. Schulze's Formula #3 (not so hard on the stomach!?
